La Dra. Amarilis Jacobo, Dentista, el 17 de Mayo, 2015,  dentro de nuestro X Congreso medico Annual Internacional a celebrarse en el Hospital   Linconl del Bronx, la Dra.Jacobo, se graduado de Dra.en Odontologia en la Universidad central del este en SanPedro de Macoris en la Republica Dominicana,  durante varios años  ha sido conferencista , Consultante y Mentora de nuestros Odontologos recien llegados   Estado de New York,
La Dra.Jacobo es experta en etica apicada a la Odontologia , razon por la cual  es miembro activo del board de Etica, para el estado de New York, Tambien    ha servido de consultantes   en etica odontologica  a varias agencias, y Profesionales Independiente.

Dr. Amarilis Jacobo is one of the most respected leaders of the Dominican Dental Association, and the Hispanic Dental community. Her influence extends to many other ethnic groups within Dentistry. Dr. Jacobo is  is a member of the    the ADA and NYSDA and works tirelessly to promote organize Dentistry and the profession as a whole. Dr. Jacobo is working with New York State Dental Association to ensure the continuation and development of New York State’s Medical program; the primary vehicle through which the underserved  population receives Dental services.  Most recently, Dr. Jacobo’s efforts were instrumental in enabling NYSDA to defeat gubernatorial proposal to eliminate adult services from Medicaid program. As a result, millions of New York citizens still have access to quality Dental care.Dr. Jacobo is a General Dentist in a private practice. She received her Dental training at the University of Central East, San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic, with post-graduate training from New York University. On the state level, Dr. Jacobo is a member of the House of Delegate, member of the Council of Ethic Committee, a member of Empire Dental Political Action Committee, the Medicaid Reference Committee. She is a Board member of the Bronx County Dental Society and Board member of the Spanish American Medical Dental Society. At the national level, she is a member of the ADA Institute of Diversity leadership; fellow member of the international Pierre Fauchard Academy and The International College of Dentists.Dr. Jacobo has an impressive record of contributions of Dental services to the local community and the Dominican Republic since 1992. She has visited different part of the Dominican Republic providing Dental services; also locally she visited Elementary Dental Schools giving Oral Hygiene on Gives Kids Smile Day and to high schools on career days. She is a past president and executive officer of the Dominican Dental Association USA. She is a Board member of the Hispanic Dental Association New York Chapter, and Board member of the Spanish American Medical Dental Association.Most importantly, Dr. Jacobo is a mentor and role model to young Dentists of all nationalities.
